Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting Brittny’s Atelier! Each piece is made with care, and we want you to love your purchase. This policy explains how returns and refunds are handled for orders placed through our website or official sales channels.
1. Handmade & One‑of‑a‑Kind Items
Many of our products are handmade or one‑of‑a‑kind, which means slight variations in color, texture, or design are normal and not considered defects.
2. Returns & Exchanges
Handmade Paper: Each sheet of our handmade paper is a one‑of‑a‑kind creation with its own natural texture and character. Because of its delicate, artisanal nature, all handmade paper is final sale — but we inspect each piece before shipping to ensure you receive something beautiful. If you have any questions before ordering, feel free to reach out!
Handmade Bookmarks: Eligible for returns or exchanges if unused, in the same condition received, and in original packaging. Contact us within 7 days of delivery and return within 14 days of delivery.
Other Items: Unless otherwise stated, standard return rules apply (see below).
Eligibility: To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging.
Timeframe: Contact us within 7 days of delivery and return the item within 14 days of delivery.
Non‑Returnable Items: We do not accept returns on:
Handmade paper
Custom or personalized orders
Digital downloads
Gift cards
Sale or clearance items
3. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email.
Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
Shipping costs are non‑refundable. If your order included free shipping, the actual shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
4. Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with photos of the product and packaging. We’ll work with you to provide a replacement, repair, or refund.
5. Return Shipping
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped, defective product).
We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee we will receive your returned item without tracking.
6. Services: Cancellations, Refunds & Rescheduling
Photography Services: Because these services require time, preparation, and scheduling, we ask that clients notify us at least 48 hours in advance if they need to cancel or reschedule.
Cancellations:
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a 25% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made after a session has begun are non-refundable.
Rescheduling:
We will gladly reschedule once, free of charge, with 48 hours’ notice.
Additional reschedules may incur a small administrative fee.
No Shows:
Failure to show up for a scheduled session without notice may result in forfeiting your payment.
7. Graphic Design & Brand Consulting Services
Booking & Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your project start date. This deposit will be applied toward your total project cost.Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or delay the project after booking, please notify us at least 5 business days in advance. Cancellations made with less notice may result in forfeiting the deposit.Clients may cancel services at any time by providing written notice. However:
If cancellation occurs after work has begun, the client will be billed for any work completed up to the point of cancellation.
Deposits are non-refundable once work has started or if the project is canceled with less than 5 days' notice.
If no work has been started and cancellation is made with sufficient notice (e.g., 5 business days or more), a refund may be issued at our discretion.
By initiating services, the client agrees to these terms.
Revisions & Project Scope
Each project includes a set number of revision rounds, as outlined in your proposal or agreement. Additional revisions outside the agreed scope may incur extra fees.Refunds
Due to the custom nature of design and consulting services, no refunds will be issued once work has begun. However, if you’re unsatisfied with the final result, we’ll work with you in good faith to address reasonable concerns within the project scope.Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing timely feedback and necessary materials (e.g., logos, photos, copy). Delays in communication may result in rescheduling or additional fees.
